These experiences encouraged her to go to an acting school in Budapest, where she got to know different theatrical tools, including the theater in education method. Since Réka finished her studies as an actress, she has been leading interactive plays on alcohol prevention for high school students and she is also a part of a gastro theatre performance. As a member of Pro Progressione she got the opportunity to work in fields that are close to her heart.

Pro Progressione

Founded 10 years ago, Pro Progressione is working with both upcoming and established artists as well as small-scale independent organisations and public institutions to foster their international relations and implement new types of contemporary artistic projects. Over the recent years, they became one of the most relevant actors in the international art scene in Hungary. To give an example: all four successful projects in the scope of Creative Europe Programme in Hungary were carried out by Pro Progressione. Currently, they serve as project manager to all these projects as well as an umbrella organisation for six different artists and art collectives working in the field of theatre, contemporary dance and visual design. This year, they use their interdisciplinary approach and expertise in building bridges between international and local actors from arts and civil society to bring the MitOst Festival to Budapest.
